Congratulations go to Andrew G for winning this year's 60-second competition. His cheeky film Dazzle was a skillfully re-worked version of the film that did so well at this years Midland Movie Makers Midsummer Madness competition (that's a LOT of Ms!).Dazzle Screengrab But perhaps the real credit goes to our own very accomplished actors Mike and Helen! Congratulations either way! Dazzle narrowly pipped Simon's Time Team - a film that hopefully gives non-members an idea of what we all get up to on a typical club night. The evening was made all the more special by having one of our life members, Albert join us, together with other members not seen in a while.

Derby Movie Makers are excited to welcome all to their forthcoming 60 Second Competition on Thursday 14 December 2017. The competition is the one of three competitions held by the club every year and takes place alongside their Christmas seasonal celebrations. As with all of their club meetings, visitors and non-members are welcome and encouraged. This week they will also be invited to choose the winning film by audience vote!
